RACE TRACK [LEVEL DESIGN]

This mini project consisted of 2 main tasks which were 1. Using Unity’s input system to create the movement of the car and 2. The design of a race track.

The race tack is of easy difficulty with mostly straight and even roads, but in a dense city environment.

The track starts in a suburban area with rows of tall townhouses.

The track then leads towards a park area with some onlookers.

Next is the snaking bit next to a more open parkland area.

From here the player reaches the city centre and the festivities.

The scene contains a lot of details such as the summer picnic in the center of the map.

The finish line is contains spectator seating and a winners podium.

The gameplay is simple but fun, the most attention was given to the level design and the creation of a little story through the scene setting.
