MEMORY DUMP [DEV & GAME ART]

This cute and short Point & Click adventure was developed for a 2 week game jam. The brief was to create a fully functional mini game and the theme was free to choose.

Having just played Unpacking (Witch Beam, 2021) I was inspired to make a game about the journey of tiding up. The nightmare of only getting it half done should motivate the player to tidy up before falling asleep, even though every item tells its own little story and distracting us from the ask at hand.

All assets are hand drawn in procreate. Some animations couldn’t be implemented by submission time.

The project taught me about game time and quaternions, how to prioritise tasks, and how just a few mechanics can come together to create a fun little challenge.

This was my first game jam and first Point & Click game, but the plan is to make a whole adventure! Point & Click’s are some of my all time favourite games to play and develop!
